"Don't pass this place up! We stopped in last night for a casual seafood dinner and were greeted by a very friendly owner and family. They quickly set up a table outside, and the waiter was super attentive. The food was amazing! We are just sad that we waited until the end of our trip to stop in. We will definitely be back on our next trip!"

Congratulations to the winner of our Oldest Tee-Shirt Contest!

Boulevard Clams was a palace of legends and where Bon Jovi would be seen eating. At least that is what I was told as a kid. My father and his friends would visit the shore each weekend to get some seafood for dinner, bring it home to us, and enjoy a few frozen drinks. One day he even got a t-shirt. As the legend goes, one night after a few too many of these drinks the men headed out for a night swim. My father came out, grabbed his towel, and a "Boulevard Clams" t-shirt. In the morning, he was so excited to repeat that he had found a t-shirt just like his on the beach at night. Unforunatley, my mother had to break the news rhat it was his t-shirt that had been hanging on the clothes line. He must have grabbed it accidentally.
We never stopped wearing the shirt until about a year ago when I decided it may rip. I was always going to get him a new t-shirt when I visited, but he passed away suddently in 2015. He would be so excited to know the legendary t-shirt was making a trip to Boulevard Clams all these years later. It's a reminder of all the fun I had as a kid spending summer weekends at LBI. I'm thinking it's from 87, 88, or 89.
Sincerely,
Brittany M.
